In a world where everyone has a mic, very few know how to lead a conversation people actually remember. This is the course that changes that.

THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU IF
This course was built for exactly that. Kanika bridges two decades of CNN-trained craft with the modern creator landscape. You don’t need credentials. You need a framework. That’s what In Moderation™ gives you.
Then you’re ready for the next level. The gap between a good podcast and one guests rave about is rarely the content or the guest. It’s the moderator’s craft. This is where you close that gap.
Neither does Kanika. This course is specifically about making preparation feel natural. The architecture is invisible. Your audience only hears the magic, not the method.
Conversation is a gift. Interviewing is a craft. One happens to you. The other you build, intentionally, for an audience. This course teaches you the difference.
You will. There’s a full lesson dedicated to live panel and fireside moderation, from orchestrating big personalities to elevating the quietest voice in the room.
WHAT'S THE ROI OF THIS COURSE?
The hosts who book the best guests, land the biggest stages, and get paid to moderate aren’t the most followed. They’re the most skilled. When you become someone people trust with their stories, everything else follows.
WHAT CHANGES AFTER THIS COURSE
to someone people trust with their stories.
Six shifts that happen when you complete In Moderation™ and they compound over every interview, panel, and conversation you lead.
You walk in prepared and it shows
No more hoping the conversation lands. You’ll have a pyramid prep method, pre-call strategy, and a research approach that has guests floored before you’ve asked a single question.
You stop over-sharing and start guiding
You’ll know exactly when to speak, when to pause, when to probe, and when to pivot. The audience becomes your north star and everything aligns to serve them.
Your questions open doors instead of closing them
Wordsmithing, framing, the art of the follow-up. You’ll craft questions that invite stories instead of one-word answers.
You become someone guests actively recommend
Guests leave saying “that was the best interview I’ve ever done.” That reputation compounds. It becomes your brand.
You can read and shift a room in real time
Panels. Fireside chats. Restless audiences. Dominant voices. You’ll have the tools to orchestrate any room, any energy, any dynamic.
Your audience stays, returns, and tells others
The 3I framework becomes your filter for every interview you build. When all three fire, audiences don’t just listen. They come back.

The mindset shift that separates good hosts from great interviewers and why the VIP in any interview is never who you think.
The Pyramid Prep Method. Research, pre-call strategy, what to wear, and one technique that makes guests feel known before you say hello.
The Reverse Pyramid structure for designing an interview arc that keeps your audience hooked from first word to last, without sounding robotic.
How you open, how you frame, and the exact phrasing that invites stories instead of shutting them down. Kanika’s go-to phrases included.
The do’s and don’ts of live interviewing, including the one habit almost every new host has that is silently killing their interviews.
Your story matters just as much as your guest’s. How to infuse your point of view without overpowering and build a brand people follow for years.

What is the community access?
The community is a separate, optional add-on available at a monthly rate. It gives you access to a circle of peers who are on the same journey, a place to share wins, ask questions between office hours, and keep growing your craft alongside others. Details on how to join are available after enrollment.
I don't have a media background. Is this still for me?
Absolutely, and you’re actually the person this course was built for. Kanika created In Moderation™ specifically to bridge the gap between journalism-trained craft and the modern creator and founder landscape. No credentials required. Just a genuine desire to show up better.
I already have a podcast. Is there still value here?
Yes, especially if your show is already going well. The gap between a good podcast and one guests rave about is usually not the content or the guest. It’s the moderator’s craft. This is the course that closes that gap.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. A payment plan option is available. Reach out via the inquiry link and we’ll get you set up. All payment plan students receive identical access to the full course and monthly office hours.

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH
You’ll walk into any room, any stage, any mic feeling genuinely prepared.
You’ll ask questions that open people up rather than shut them down and you’ll feel the difference immediately.
You’ll have a framework that is yours forever, sharpening with every conversation you lead.
You’ll become the kind of interviewer guests talk about long after the mic goes off.
And somewhere along the way, you’ll realise you’ve become the kind of communicator who changes rooms just by being in them.
MAY 15 LAUNCH
In Moderation™ launches with just one founding cohort. Once the price goes up at launch, it won’t come back down. This is the only time this course will be available at this price.
