Kanika Chadda-Gupta is the definition of a diverse female leader and believes our greatest responsibility on earth is the legacy we leave for our children. After giving birth to three children in a year and a half [that’s right, twins + 1], she was scrambling for answers as a new parent. She realized that despite the ongoing challenges, there’s no substitute for our superpower of intuition, which she calls our “mom sense” and “dad sense.” Kanika has made it her mission to support parents as they navigate child rearing while living their purpose.
A born storyteller with 20 years in the media industry, Kanika uses her experience as a CNN journalist turned podcaster as she hosts the top-rated podcast, That’s Total Mom Sense, and spin-off What Matters Most with Maple with co-host tech founder and father of two, Michael Perry. She invites global thought leaders to dig deep on topics like rediscovering your identity after kids, teaching children mindfulness, and dividing the workload at home.
Guests include Kelly Rowland, America Ferrera, Bobbi Brown, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rebecca Minkoff, Sarah Harden, Dee Poku, Reshma Saujani, Nyakio Kamoche Grieco, Eve Rodsky, Natalie Morales, Daphne Oz, Mallika Chopra, Chriselle Lim, and Shannon Lee.
Kanika enjoys teaching her kids about their Indian heritage as she is a trained Indian classical dancer and vocalist. She is a founding member and mentor of the non-profit, RISE100 by Sundara. She is a brand ambassador for Gaiam and has established partnerships with the White House Department of Health and Human Services, March of Dimes, Nanit, HOMER, Manhattan Toy Company, Mommy’s Bliss, Lunya, and Babyation. She collaborated with Bodewell Living on the exclusive M.OM Sense candle.
Kanika has been featured on ABC, NBC, Fox, Forbes, Medium, Thrive Global, India.com, and more.
