I am a CNN television anchor turned entrepreneur and podcaster. I was thrown into the deep end of motherhood when I had my three kids [twins + 1] within eighteen months. It was sink or swim. So, I did what anyone would do. I doggy paddled my way to the surface! I’m hardwired to ask tough questions and I found myself seeking answers about life as a parent from everyone I knew – TED speakers, neighbors, Amazon reps. I knew other parents were in the same boat. With no time to read mountains of self-help books, I was yearning for tools to simplify daily life, as well as an outlet to feel part of a conversation and community. Just like that, my podcast That’s Total Mom Sense was born!
As first time parents, we often struggle with navigating our new role.
